Mel and Donald

Mad Mel Gibson is all the news just now. And, of course, all celebrities are urged to weigh in on the issue. Me included. Of course. I might have more to say of it at another time, but my immediate response is regarding Donald Trump. He declaimed that Oksana was of no character, or some such because she taped Mel’s rants. Uh, what!? Yeah, Oksana is the low life. I’ve often secretly and ashamedly envied and respected The Donald for his awesome self-assurance. If I only had a hundredth of it, I’d be so lucky and delighted! But the last time I watched Apprentice was the night he fired the woman wrestler. The act that sealed her doom? She revealed that she couldn’t stand one of the other, male, contestants because he had come into the women’s area to take a smelly dump in their bathroom! I think that would set almost anyone on edge, although the other women did not comment and pretty much fell over themselves to adore said male dumper before the show was over. So was the smelly sh*tter a problem for The Donald? Not at all, but the woman who narced on him got the boot after Donald called her out for calling the sh*tter out! I think he may have used the phrase 'low class'.
And so it is with Donald and Mel. Mel’s rant was not addressed, but Oksana was considered by Donald to obviously be a loser for taping his tirades. Talk about warped priorities! What sort of defense did this woman have? Why not use his words against him? And she with a newborn!? Is the Donald crazy? Yeah, I guess so. But more likely misogynist. Or maybe he’d rather be as glamorous as the women he puts down?! Donald Tramp if you ask me.
I have had more than one tirade for which I would be most embarrassed were it to be made public. Perhaps we all have. But equally appalling and galling are the public actions of someone with the power of a Trump using his leverage in such a vulgar way, calling out two strong women for standing up for themselves. Quite revealing of his true character I think.
